In time for the last minute rush of finding gifts, our Featured Site of the Week here at Lookery is a site appropriately called – Lastminute.com giftfinder. According to our notes on this site, we are suppose to be showing off the age shown below.
Now that is somewhat impressive, and we always have a second category to discuss. In this case it’s again the gender shown below.
What we really should talk about, now that this site is probably going into overdrive in the final few last shopping days, is location! This is what jumped out more than the age or gender audience data, it was the fact that over 90% of their traffic is from the UK.
Yes, that is not an illusion readers, and the less than 4% of USA traffic is quite interesting. Even more interesting is the fact that of that less than 4% USA traffic, California is not #1 or #2.
What does this audience data all mean for Lastminute.com giftfinder? Well we tend to let the site owners decide for themselves what it means to them specifically. Each site owner can interpret the data differently, or use the demographic data to their advantage.
While you may have reached the end of this blog post, there is absolutely no reason why you should stop here. Sign up for free and start learning more about your audience. The data could end up surprising you as in where your audience is coming from as well as your demographic reach by age and gender.
