Big or Small : All Sites matter at Lookery

It can be argued that big sites such as OkCupid which we featured yesterday here on this blog are all that matter to Lookery. Sites with the amount of traffic that OkCupid enjoy can help us grow exponentially of course. The graph below of their traffic is from Compete.
But for the smaller sites, the key to site growth are much the same. Knowing your audience is key to making your site grow whether you are big like OkCupid, or much smaller, like the one I found this morning. The graph below is from Compete.
Gadgets Expose is a simple clean install of a WordPress blog. It reviews various gadgets out there, one of the cooler ones being a rubber band gun that it reviewed back in September.
The first thought that comes to mind is, “This has to be a 90% male oriented site.” That statement couldn’t be further from the truth as shown clearly by the gender break out below.
One thing we have learned so far about the data a site generates on our network pages, is that it can change from month to month as we process more data about your site. Since this site has been running our code since the 22nd of July, I thought I would go back a month and see that “90% male” audience. I was completely wrong as October shows a bigger female audience by a few percentage points.
What other cool data does the site owner have access too since it’s a small site? We give you access to exactly the same information whether your site is big or small like Gadgets Expose.
One thing we learned as an ad network is that countries where your site has it’s user base – matter. Without knowing much else about this site and by looking only at the countries data below, I would say this site has the potential of making some decent money via the advertising route.
Want to learn more about your audience? All it takes is a few minutes of your time and it’s completely FREE and easy to sign up.
