Lookery Profile API v1.3 in limited release

Yesterday we hinted about the release of the Lookery Profile API. As of this evening, we are slowly rolling it out to our earlier adopters of Lookery for the Web.
Many of you are wondering what this Profile API does. The Lookery Profile API v1.3 is the voluntary contribution of ASL (Age, Sex, Location) data. Lookery for the Web has many pieces and this is the next part to be rolled out.
The data that is captured by the API does not include any PII (Personally Identifiable Information). Being a participant is completely the choice of the participating web sites.
While many think that ASL data is not compelling enough information, going the other way would be the tactic of many of the bad guys we read about daily. That data caputuring involves breaking TOS and crossing over privacy barriers.
Lookery wants to remain one of the good guys. If you are an early adopter of Lookery, and would like to implement the new Lookery Profile API, please contact us.
